With a variety of applications, exterior doors are primarily utilized for main entry and patio openings. In traditional stylings, entry doors are most often configured with single or double doors accompanied by inoperable or operable side-lites and/or transoms. Patio doors, on the other hand, typically include two or more sliding panels or two French hinging doors that swing either inward or outward. Recently however, more contemporary options have become available to allow for larger openings to patios and decks for an indoor/outdoor living space or even as divisions to other portions of your home;  These are known as bi-folding, multi-panel sliding and lift-and-slide doors.
